Gemstone Guidance

The Right Stone For Your Chart

A gemstone strengthens the planet it belongs to — which is why the same stone that helps one person can unsettle another. Your birth chart decides the stone, its weight, the metal it is set in and the day you begin wearing it. Nothing is recommended before the chart is read.

On request — The fee is confirmed after your chart is reviewed, before any payment.

How it works

  1. 1

    Share your birth details

Date, exact time and place of birth, along with what you are seeking guidance on.

  2. 2

    Your chart is studied

The lagna, the planetary periods running for you and the strength of each planet decide which stone is indicated — and which ones to avoid.

  3. 3

    You receive the recommendation

The stone, its weight in ratti, the metal, the finger, and the muhurat to begin wearing it — with the mantra to energise it.

  4. 4

    Buy it with confidence

Guidance on buying a natural, untreated stone with a proper lab certificate, so you are not sold a treated or synthetic one.

The nine planetary gemstones

Each stone carries the energy of one planet. Which of them belongs to you — and which to keep away from — is decided by your chart, not by the stone.

What the recommendation includes

  • The stone indicated by your chart — and the ones you should not wear
  • Weight in ratti, and the metal to set it in
  • Which finger and hand, and the day and muhurat to begin
  • The mantra and the simple ritual to energise it before wearing
  • What to look for on the lab certificate, so you buy a natural stone

Before you buy any stone

  • Never wear a stone because it helped a friend or a relative. The same stone acts differently on a different chart.
  • Blue Sapphire and Hessonite are the two to be most careful with — both are trialled first.
  • In the traditional method the stone must touch the skin, so the setting is left open at the back.
  • Buy natural and untreated, with a certificate from a recognised lab. A cheap stone is usually cheap for a reason.
  • A gemstone supports the effort you are already making. It is not a substitute for medical, legal or financial advice.

Not sure which stone is right for you?

Share your birth details and your chart will be studied before anything is suggested. If no stone is indicated for you right now, you will be told that too.
